New Originals & Prints in Shop!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday! Anyone else done with Winter?! I am. Last week we had a break and temps were in the mid 50’s here in Kansas… this morning it was 4 degrees… 4! They are calling for potentially lots of snow this weekend too. I’m thankful we had a break last week, but it’s brought spring fever on big time! Winter is my least favorite season though, so I’m always eager for it to end. 😉

Today, I wanted to share some recently posted new goodies in my shop, both originals and prints with more on the way soon. Here’s a little sampling of what you’ll find, but you will definitely want to go visit my shop for yourself to check it all out. 🙂 ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Also, if you want to stay up-to-date with me and the happenings of my shop, I’m on Instagram and have been posting some sales and behind the scenes sneaks recently. Check it out and follow me… I’m @alterediris.

Hope you’re staying warm and cozy where you are… have a lovely day! 🙂

Shop Update

Indeed it has been a while since I’ve had a shop update with all the activity of the Summer! But, alas I’ve been creating (as you know) and the direct result of that is new stuff in my shop! Yay!!! I’ve posted 3 new original canvases and added several prints as well! Hope you’ll check it out!

This first one is a 4×4 canvas with a lovely little quote. I started with some fun striped tissue paper I had leftover from a gift as the background. Added some coordinating paint around the edges, stamped on those sweet little berry branches and added that inspiring quote by Henry David Thoreau.

The next one is a 10×10 canvas with Psalm 100 with a sweet little wonky flower. I used a mix of patterned paper for the background and then saw how fall-ish it looked and decided to use a scripture verse about thankfulness, so did a little search and decided on this one. It would be a perfect addition to your fall decor or even for everyday decor… we can all use a reminder to be thankful all year round right? 🙂

And this one is definitely meant for your Fall or Halloween decor. When I started with the background, I wasn’t necessarily thinking of a Fall piece but once it was down I realized how perfect it would be to add a little pumpkin on top. So, I hand cut the little cutie and distressed him up a bit and searched for the perfect words… thought it was too cute to be something spooky, so when I found a sweeter version of the “trick or treat” rhyme, decided that was it! It’s an 8×8 size, just right for a little accent table or mantle display!

Hope you’ll take a moment (or two) and peruse all the new art in my shop! And, as always, custom orders are welcome… it’s not to early to start thinking about Christmas too! 😉
